La Liga: Diomande must improve finishing — Mourinho

Real Madrid manager José Mourinho has advised young winger Yan Diomande to enhance his finishing skills if he aims to achieve his full potential at the club. This assessment came after Real Madrid's win against Sevilla on Sunday, according to reports from Fabrizio Romano. Mourinho expressed satisfaction with Diomande's overall contribution but highlighted the need for improvement in a specific area.

The Portuguese coach stated, "I am very happy with Diomande. He has a lot to work on, and he has many things he needs to improve. He needs to work on his finishing." Mourinho elaborated, "He gets to a lot of dangerous positions, but he needs to learn to relax more and make a better decision in the last touch." Diomande, a 19-year-old Ivory Coast international who transferred from RB Leipzig in a high-value deal this summer, has exhibited promising movement and the ability to create threats in attacking areas.

Mourinho acknowledges these qualities as a solid foundation, but emphasizes that Diomande must develop greater composure and better decision-making in the final third to further his progress.
