Kings of Leon to Headline Sydney Summertime Concert Series With Ocean Alley
The Nashville band becomes the second headliner for the new Centennial Park series, after The Strokes, three weeks after announcing O My Beloved.
Kings of Leon have announced they will headline the inaugural Sydney Summertime outdoor concert series on Sunday, February 28, 2027. Special guests will be Australian band Ocean Alley. This follows the Strokes' headline slot on February 20 with Beck, Courtney Barnett, and Promiseland. The series is organized by Secret Sounds and Live Nation.
Kings of Leon's upcoming 10th studio album, "O My Beloved," set for release on November 6 via Love Tap Records and Virgin Music Group, will be their first album entirely produced by the band themselves. The single "My Whole World" has been released. The show is open to all ages, with free entry for children under 12, youth tickets for ages 13 to 17, and adult accompaniment required for those under 18.
Ticket prices range from general admission to private suites, with a return public transport pass included with each ticket. Moshtix is the ticketing partner. Early access is available for preorders of "O My Beloved" placed by 4 p.m. AEDT on October 21. Additional international and Australian headliners are expected to be announced soon.
Kings of Leon's 2009 hit "Use Somebody" reached No. 4 on the Billboard Hot 100 and their 2008 album "Only by the Night" peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200.
