K-pop girl group ITZY member Chaeryeong will debut solo on November 9 with the mini album "Lovesick," according to her agency JYP Entertainment. The album features the lead track of the same name and includes a trailer, track list, and promotion schedule shared on JYP's official social media platforms. Chaeryeong is the third ITZY member to release solo music, following Yeji in March 2025 and Yuna in March of the same year.
Chaeryeong originally debuted with ITZY in 2019, and she is recognized for her stable live vocals, graceful dance moves, and energetic presence in TV variety shows. The agency describes her as someone who will display a different facet of herself as a solo artist. The trailer, resembling a storybook, depicts Chaeryeong as unbothered by various circumstances - unphased by a birthday cake, a burning phone, winning the lottery, noisy neighbors, and even a wobbly floor.
