Travis Kelce’s viral message has Cleveland Guardians fans believing in a playoff miracle

Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs star, sparked excitement among both Cleveland Guardians and football fans after his enthusiastic message during a pivotal moment. This came after the Guardians' incredible comeback from a 0-2 deficit in the American League Championship Series (ALCS) against the Chicago White Sox. Kelce's simple words, "You just gotta believe, baby," resonated throughout Ohio, uniting fans of both baseball and football.

As the Guardians clinched their spot in the ALCS, it marked their 11th team to overcome a 0-2 hole and win a best-of-five playoff series. The Guardians' remarkable turnaround contrasted sharply with their disappointment after losing the first two games at home to the White Sox. In Game 4, Cleveland erupted for six runs in the sixth inning, propelled by José Ramírez's three RBIs, including a crucial home run.

With this victory, Cleveland became the first team to rally from a 0-2 deficit since 2025 and the 56th team overall to force a Game 5 in a best-of-five series. Ramírez's performance in Game 5, including a pivotal two-run home run, was a testament to his resurgence in the postseason. The Guardians now face the American League's top seed, the Tampa Bay Rays, in the ALCS, with the series beginning on October 12 at Tropicana Field.
