Tinubu committed to LG autonomy — Uzodimma

Hope Uzodimma, the Chairman of the Progressive Governors Forum and the Governor of Imo State, has reaffirmed President Bola Tinubu's commitment to Local Government autonomy, institutional strengthening, and financial viability. Uzodimma made this assurance at the 2026 General Assembly of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) in Abuja, emphasizing that effective Local Government administration is crucial for translating government policies into tangible benefits for citizens.
