As October transitions into Halloween, streaming enthusiasts may be searching for some spooky content on Hulu. This week brings a pair of 2025 horror debuts, along with the entire "Hunger Games" franchise, now available on the platform. Rachel Zegler stars as Lucy Gray Baird in "The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes," a prequel to the original 2012 film.
Despite a weak entry in 2014's "Mockingjay – Part 1," the series remains a great adaptation of Suzanne Collins' young adult series, exploring themes of warfare and propaganda through unforgettable characters. "Companion," a sci-fi horror film starring Sophie Thatcher and Jack Quaid, offers an entertaining action-horror romp with an android protagonist.
Lastly, "Wolf Man," a 2025 supernatural thriller, features Christopher Abbott and Julia Garner in a slow-paced, body horror-driven tale of family protection from a menacing supernatural threat.
