Serie A: Venezia coach lauds Adams after goal against Napoli

Venezia's manager, David Nicola, has commended Akor Adams following the striker's decisive goal in the team's 1-0 victory over Napoli. The match took place at Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo on Saturday. Adams capitalized on a mistake by Napoli's Benoit Badiashile just four minutes into the second half to put the ball into the net. This win marked Venezia's second triumph in the Italian top-flight this season, while Napoli suffered their third loss of the campaign.

While Nicola typically avoids highlighting individual players, he praised Adams' dedication, key attributes, and potential for further growth. Nicola stated, "I don’t like to talk about individuals. Adams puts his heart and soul into it, he has some very important qualities, he helps the team. Akor has incredible room for improvement," as reported by pazzidifanta. Venezia will face Genoa in their upcoming Serie A fixture on Sunday, 25 October, 2026.
