Mumbai, 18th October: Renowned actor Ranbir Kapoor enlivened the festive spirit of Navratri by stepping into the North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja pandal in the city. The star, accompanied by his cinematic ally Ayan Mukerji, engaged in friendly interactions with the media contingent in attendance, capturing numerous snapshots. The highlight of Kapoor's visit, however, was his spontaneous musical performance.
The 'Rockstar' actor stepped onto the stage alongside singer Harshdeep Kaur, belting out the famed ballad 'Kabira' from Kapoor's 2013 film "Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani." The video of his impromptu rendition, shared on Instagram, quickly gained traction and went viral on social media. In the clip, Kapoor can be seen sharing the spotlight with Kaur as she sang the popular track.
Dressed in a striking red-and-gold kurta paired with white pyjamas, Kapoor held a microphone, engaged with the crowd, and even encouraged them to join in with the chorus. The actor's graceful entry into the pandal, where he offered prayers to Goddess Durga, was also captured on camera.
