Mike Vrabel Calls Out Patriots After ‘Fortunate’ Win Over Jets
Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel made a blunt admission about his team's performance after defeating the New York Jets.
New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel expressed dissatisfaction with his team's performance after their recent 26-19 win over the New York Jets. Vrabel attributed their victory to luck, stating that the Patriots had made too many mistakes and played poorly overall. Two costly fumbles by running back TreVeyon Henderson and receiver DeMario Douglas hampered the team's efforts.
Vrabel criticized the team for not showing improvement since the previous two weeks. Despite the loss of star wide receiver AJ Brown due to injury, the Patriots' defense controlled the Jets by sacking quarterback Geno Smith three times and forcing an interception. The Patriots currently lead the AFC East, and Vrabel emphasized that continued improvement is crucial for them to retake the Super Bowl lead.
