Mbappe hits two as Real Madrid rout Sevilla

Kylian Mbappe scored a brace, including a brilliant individual goal, as Real Madrid overwhelmed Sevilla 4-1 in a La Liga match at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium on Sunday. The victory moved the Spanish champions into third place in the league table. Arda Guler opened the scoring with a spectacular opener, and Mbappe added two more goals, a stunning roulette maneuver and a chipped Panenka penalty.

The Spanish giants now sit six points behind leaders Barcelona with Atletico Madrid occupying second place. Mourinho's side were bolstered by the inclusion of Arda Guler in midfield and Diomande in attack, replacing the suspended Vinicius Junior. The Spanish team faced criticism over referee decisions following Vinicius' red card last weekend, with fans chanting and holding banners against LaLiga president Javier Tebas.

Sevilla's Manuel Bueno equalized with a neat strike, but Madrid sealed the match with a second goal from Diomande, who scored his second goal since joining from RB Leipzig.
