Man United player ratings vs Leeds: Midfielder earns 8/10 as Bruno Fernandes struggles
Bryan Mbeumo opened the scoring at Elland Road but Michael Carrick’s side could only draw 1-1 with Leeds
Manchester United's latest Premier League match against Leeds at Elland Road ended in a 1-1 draw, prolonging their winless run. Midfielder Bruno Fernandes received a modest rating of 5/10, as his play seemed subdued, with no goals or assists. Domination on defense was notable, with defenders Leny Yoro and Harry Maguire earning high ratings of 7/10 and 7/10, respectively.
The defending duo's efforts were crucial in creating a much more solid back-line compared to recent matches. Dominic Calvert-Lewin scored the equalizer early in the second half, benefiting from shoddy defending. Noteworthy performances came from Bruno Fernandes, who showed some creativity despite the subdued overall performance, and Youri Tielemans, whose creative play was finally rewarded with the opening goal in the 27th minute.
