Krieg gegen die Ukraine: Verständigung zulasten der Ukraine: Trump geht auf Moskau zu

In the current geopolitical climate, Donald Trump's actions towards Ukraine have been met with disappointment and concern. Following a phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, Trump announced a surprising deal involving the supply of diesel to the US and the global market. In a contrasting move, Trump also lifted sanctions on Russian diesel temporarily, while canceling planned new sanctions against Russia.

These actions aim to alleviate the pressure on the US populace due to rising fuel prices ahead of crucial congressional elections. However, this approach has left Ukraine alone in facing a harsh winter, with the Ukrainian military reporting a throttling of the critical Starlink satellite internet, which is largely owned by US tech tycoon Elon Musk.

The Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelensky, has expressed discontent with Trump's decisions, accusing him of exacerbating the diesel shortage and requesting an end to attacks on Russian refineries. Despite Trump's promise to support Ukraine, the situation on the ground has worsened, with Russian attacks causing numerous civilian casualties and straining Ukraine's energy systems before winter even began.
