Jailer 2 Box Office Collection Day 3 Updates: Rajinikanth film earns over Rs 317 crore

On the third day of its theatrical run, the Rajinikanth-starrer film Jailer 2 amassed an additional Rs 47.80 crore in net box office collections across India, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. The Tamil language version led the collection with Rs 34.60 crore from 7802 shows, while the Telugu version contributed Rs 8.50 crore from 2100 shows.

The Hindi version added Rs 4.25 crore from 4554 shows. Overall, Jailer 2 has achieved a total India gross collection of Rs 169.65 crore, with a net collection of Rs 144.60 crore. The film has now surpassed the Rs 317 crore mark in worldwide gross collections within its first three days of release. Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 features an ensemble cast including Mohanlal, Shivarajkumar, Ramya Krishnan, Vijay Sethupathi, Vidya Balan, and Mithun Chakraborty.

The film's music was composed by Anirudh Ravichander. However, the Hindi theatrical release of the film has faced some hurdles, with major multiplex chains declining to screen the Hindi-dubbed version due to a disagreement over the proposed OTT release window, which centers on the gap between the theatrical release and the streaming debut.
