Davido's logistic manager, Israel DMW, has refuted reports suggesting that the Afrobeats sensation is covertly aligned with Nigeria's All Progressives Congress (APC). In a statement shared on his Instagram on Sunday, Israel dismissed the allegations as unfounded and deceitful attempts to boost social media engagement. He emphasized, "Dear Nigerians, please disregard the baseless rumors circulating that Oga has clandestinely aligned himself with the APC.
"These are all fabricated lies designed to attract online attention. His initial position remains unchanged." Israel reiterated Davido's earlier declaration, stating, "Oga has turned down millions of dollars to endorse any presidential candidate. He has consistently expressed his commitment to Nigerians who are struggling and vowed never to betray them.
What more do Nigerians desire?" Following his uncle's public endorsement of President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid, Davido faced significant criticism.
