Arteta hails Arsenal ‘finishers’ after Madueke fells Forest
The Gunners' strength in depth will be key to their Premier League title defence after Noni Madueke came off the bench to clinch a 1-0 win.
Mikel Arteta praised Arsenal's depth and finishing ability after Noni Madueke scored a late winner against Nottingham Forest, securing a 1-0 victory. Arteta's side, which had been below par, managed to secure the three points with the help of his strategic substitutions. The Gunners moved within three points of league leaders Manchester City, despite their lackluster performance against the Championship side.
Arteta highlighted the importance of his bench depth, utilizing players such as Madueke, Mikel Merino, Viktor Gyokeres, and Jurrien Timber to turn the tide in the second half. The victory follows a string of three consecutive wins for Arsenal, who have bounced back from a shocking 3-0 loss at Brighton.
