2027: Decisive victory, Yahaya Bello boasts on defeating Natasha

Former Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello has declared his intention to secure a massive vote and a decisive victory in the 2027 Kogi Central Senatorial District election. During an interview on TVC's Politics Sunday programme, Bello expressed confidence in his chances against fellow senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan. He stated, "The result will speak for itself."

Bello emphasized that the outcome of the election would determine his political standing and dismissed questions about his popularity by saying, "Let the day come and go." When pressuring Bello about the election's implications, he declared, "Massive vote. Decisive victory." The former Kogi governor, who served from 2016 to 2024, is running for re-election in the Senate in 2027, representing the All Progressives Congress.
