Wike labels Atiku, Obi, Amaechi political gamblers

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has criticized presidential candidates Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi, and Peter Obi as political gamblers. Wike accused them of seeking the presidency without a clear vision for Nigeria, urging Nigerians not to trust their destinies to politicians who treat elections as games of chance.

During a town hall meeting in Abua/Odual Local Government Area of Rivers State, Wike challenged former governors to showcase their projects, highlighting his own administration's contributions to the area's development. He urged political leaders and stakeholders to reconcile their differences and mobilize support for the 2027 general elections.

Wike expressed support for President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid, praising his administration's efforts to stabilize critical sectors of the economy and restore industrial harmony in tertiary institutions.
