Spoke to PM Modi, he is visiting Canada on December 11-12, says Mark Carney

Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney announced that India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be visiting Canada on December 11 and 12. PM Carney made the announcement while speaking with visitors at a local restaurant in Calgary. According to the Indian High Commission in Ottawa, the visit is expected to include stops in Toronto and Ottawa.

Both leaders agreed to build on the positive momentum in their relationship and work towards concrete outcomes in areas such as trade, energy, technology, security, and people-to-people ties. Foreign Minister of Canada Anita Anand also met with PM Modi on Wednesday, discussing ways to strengthen India-Canada ties in various sectors like trade, technology, security, energy, education, and people-to-people exchanges.
