Mfantsipim School's musical heritage has been preserved in a 14-track album launched by the Mfantsipim Old Boys Association (MOBA) to commemorate the school's 150th anniversary. The project, begun from a text message about a jama song competition, grew beyond its original scope. Recording and production was handled by lawyer Ace Anan Ankomah, with sound engineering by Herbert Ebenezer Crassie.
The album, described as a collection of the school's musical traditions, features more than a century of compositions, including the school's hymn For All the Saints in five versions, the official anthem Dwin Hwɛ Kan in two versions, and the Sesquicentennial Jama, a brass band version performed by the Regimental Band. Other notable additions include the Mfantsipim Ode, the Mfantsipim Mfeha Ndwom, and the Mfantsipim Centenary Highlife and Kwabotwe Highlife.
The album also preserves two highlife classics associated with the school's 1976 centenary, composed by late highlife musician Kwadwo Donkoh.
