Malen-Lautaro out, Nicola debut, Milan-Juve: 5️⃣ Serie A week 7 questions 👀

This week's Serie A fixtures saw Italian clubs suffer four defeats in a row for the first time in history. Juventus and Milan, along with Atalanta, managed to halt their losing streak with Thursday's matches. However, the overall European performance remains bleak. After three days of European action, the league season has already established some clear patterns.

Roma and Inter return to Serie A after their heavy defeats against Club Brugge and Real Madrid. Inter will be without their captain, Lautaro Martinez, for almost a month, while Roma will go without their suspended Malen. Roma looks better equipped to cope without their leading striker, Santi Castro, than Inter will be without Lautaro.

Venezia, who started the season with high expectations and significant investment, currently sit at the bottom of the table with no points and four points adrift of safety. Their debut in the absence of their leading striker, Giovanni Stroppa, will be anything but easy. Max Allegri's Napoli, coming off a Champions League defeat to Villarreal, will face them at the Penzo.

Como and Fiorentina's match is also a crucial one, with both teams desperately needing a win. The Rossoneri, under Amorim, are still a work in progress, but they have the talent and squad to become serious contenders for fourth place if they can cut out defensive lapses and ensure Gonzalo Ramos gets the service he needs.

Spalletti will be considering changing the Juventus system, possibly starting Kolo Muani and Woltemade together against Lazio. Despite their height difference, both players have struggled this season, indicating that they might not be capable of carrying the attack on their own.
