LeBron James makes home preseason debut for 76ers with well-rounded performance as Joel Embiid shines
James may be the biggest name on the 76ers. But as Friday's performance showed, he probably isn't the team's star.
Philadelphia 76ers added LeBron James to their roster this past offseason, and he made his home debut for the team in a preseason game on Friday against the Boston Celtics. Embiid dominated the game, scoring 23 points, grabbing 8 rebounds, and dishing out 5 assists. James contributed 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists over 25 minutes of play. Maxey added 22 points and 6 assists, while Brown scored 20 points for the Celtics.
