How to Check Punjab Free Livestock Scheme Selection Status Online

The Punjab Livestock and Dairy Development Department plans to distribute free cows and buffaloes to selected widowed and divorced women in South Punjab starting October 21, 2026. Women who applied for the Chief Minister’s Livestock Asset Transfer Scheme can verify their selection status via the official online portal. The program aims to empower rural women by providing livestock for income generation through dairy farming and rearing.

Electronic balloting took place on October 14 for the second phase, which will provide livestock to 3,380 women with an estimated budget of Rs. 3 billion. Applicants can check their selection status by visiting the Livestock Asset Transfer Portal, entering their CNIC number, and submitting the CAPTCHA code. The scheme benefits women aged 55 or younger, possessing a valid CNIC and mobile SIM under their name, who have not received livestock through any government program in the past five years. The program covers 13 districts in South Punjab, including Multan, Bahawalpur, and Vehari.
