Elks clinch home field for CFL West playoffs with win over Blue Bombers

The Edmonton Elks have secured the home field advantage for this year's CFL West final after defeating the Winnipeg Blue Bombers 35-27. Quarterback Cody Fajardo played a pivotal role in the victory, running for two touchdowns and passing for two more as the Elks rebounded from a missed field goal to secure a crucial win. Winnipeg quarterback Zach Collaros completed a respectable 28 of 33 passes for 331 yards and two touchdowns, but ultimately couldn't secure the win.

The Blue Bombers (8-9) remain in contention for a post-season berth, depending on Calgary's outcome against B.C. on Saturday.
