Broncos exudes confidence in Bo Nix despite ugly performances

The Denver Broncos are wholeheartedly confident in Bo Nix, their starting quarterback, despite a series of underwhelming performances that have left fans and analysts questioning his prowess. Despite the team's continued victories, Nix's offensive output has been consistently dismal, particularly in their recent matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Denver has prevailed in 18 of Nix's last 21 starts, maintaining faith in his competitive spirit and potential for improvement. Nix, however, has struggled mightily, throwing for a mere 107 yards without a touchdown or an interception in the most recent contest. The Broncos managed a narrow 17-14 overtime win, relying heavily on their defense, led by Ja'Quan McMillan's overtime interception, and Wil Lutz's 53-yard field goal.

Former quarterbacks, including Ryan Fitzpatrick and Dan Orlovsky, have criticized Nix's performance, citing decision-making issues. Nix himself has admitted to the team's offensive struggles, noting the difficulty in establishing a consistent rhythm. Despite these challenges, the Broncos appear steadfast in their support of Nix, who has previously acknowledged the pressure to improve despite the team's winning record.

With the quarterback averaging just 4.9 air yards per attempt over six games, one of the worst figures among recent quarterbacks, the organization's unwavering confidence is put to the test as Nix endeavors to turn his performance around.
