Avalanche’s Jared Bednar makes sobering admission after Penguins win

Colorado Avalanche head coach Jared Bednar has candidly discussed the challenges his team faces after a recent win against the Pittsburgh Penguins. After a sluggish start to the season, the Avalanche have struggled to string together consistent results, losing and winning games in alternation over the past week. Despite this, Bednar remains convinced that his team possesses the qualities that make it successful, but acknowledges that they need to find a way to maintain that level of play for the entire 60 minutes of a game.

In a recent interview, Bednar highlighted the importance of intensity and discipline in the Avalanche's game plan, and stated that when they decide to execute their strategy effectively, they are a formidable team. The Avalanche will be eager to build on their recent win when they face the winless Philadelphia Flyers on Monday.
