Hasan Nawaz, a Pakistani cricketer, has re-signed with Desert Vipers for their fifth season in the International League T20 (ILT20). He replaces England's Aneurin Donald, who is unable to participate due to T20I commitments with Australia. Nawaz played a key role in Desert Vipers' title win last season and has continued to perform well in domestic leagues, scoring 291 runs in the Pakistan Super League and 220 in the CPL.
The right-handed batter, who can open the innings to No. 6, will join a squad that includes fellow Pakistanis Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, and Naseem Shah. Desert Vipers CEO Phil Oliver expressed confidence that Nawaz would settle in quickly, and the team will start their title defense on November 21.
