6,724 pegawai KKM terima pemangkuan, naik pangkat

The Malaysian Ministry of Health announced that 6,724 of its staff members have been promoted and upgraded to the Sector-Wide Government Sector (JUSA) and grades 10 to 15 by the Civil Service Promotion Board (LKPPA) on October 13th. This decision is part of the ministry's ongoing efforts to value the commitment, dedication, and achievements of its staff in ensuring the smooth operation and success of healthcare services to the public.

The ministry stated that the promotions are a reflection of its continuous efforts to appreciate the commitment, dedication, and accomplishments of its staff in maintaining the continuity of healthcare operations and the effectiveness of healthcare service delivery to the people. In line with the improvement of career advancement routes under the Public Service Personnel Management System (SSPA), LKPPA has introduced the Criteria for Superior Promotion Without Position Vacancy for KKM Service Skim.

This promotion will provide better career advancement opportunities for involved staff members, according to KKM. Additionally, KKM also acknowledged the service and sacrifice of four KKM staff members who served as Air Medical Service (PDU) members and died in a helicopter accident while performing their duties on September 8th.

As a mark of appreciation for their service and sacrifice, these four individuals were upgraded posthumously. KKM believes that such recognition will pave the way for continued success and strengthen the spirit of KKM staff to jointly realize the aspirations of a quality, efficient, and responsive national health system. KKM also pledges to continue researching and implementing improvement measures to ensure the well-being and career development of KKM staff are always given due attention.
