Former Manchester City forward Kelechi Iheanacho has celebrated his historic achievement of scoring in 10 consecutive matches for Turkish side Bursaspor. The prolific striker netted two goals and provided an assist in Bursaspor's 3-0 away victory over Muğlaspor, extending his scoring streak to a remarkable 10 matches in the Turkish First League.
Iheanacho's brace ensured he has surpassed the scoring feats of Turkish football legends Metin Oktay and Saffet Sancaklı, both of whom have impressive records of their own. Speaking to beIN SPORTS, the Nigerian international expressed his satisfaction with his performance, stating, "I'm happy with my performance as well, helping the team move up the table.
We are now second in the league, so we hope to get more points." Iheanacho added, "Hopefully, the goals will keep coming, and at the end, we will crown our efforts with victory."
