The Wyze BodyScan smart scale redefines what is possible at a budget price point
The Wyze BodyScan offers an impressive set of features for the price. Unfortunately, it’s let down by the build quality.
The Wyze BodyScan smart scale is a budget-friendly option that offers 17 body composition metrics, including weight, BMI, body fat, muscle mass, and basal metabolism. The scale is equipped with a 4.7-inch LED display, which is the largest of any smart scale featured in the best smart scales guide. The scale's display, located at the top of the base unit, is big, bright, and super clear even when viewed from six feet away.
The BodyScan syncs with Apple Health, Health Connect, and Fitbit, and recognizes up to eight users automatically. Despite its affordable price of $84.98, the Wyze BodyScan delivers high accuracy and provides essential health metrics that most everyday users could ever need. The scale is praised for its large display and solid construction, although the handlebar is made of cheap plastic and lacks a locking mechanism.
