Apple has unveiled a discounted price for the new Apple TV 4K on Amazon, marking the first discount of the weekend. The 4th generation device is now available for $289.99 on Amazon, a $10 reduction compared to Apple's listed price of $299. Priced at $289.99, preorders for this next-gen Apple TV can be placed on Amazon, with an expected shipping date of November 13.
This updated model boasts an A19 chip that enhances CPU processing speed by 50 percent, providing a smoother experience for menu navigation, app switching, and animations. Additionally, the device features Siri AI that utilizes Apple Intelligence to better understand and respond to natural, conversational commands. A significant upgrade is the inclusion of far-field microphones built into the device, enabling hands-free control through simple voice commands to the room.
Perhaps the most convenient enhancement is the inclusion of Find My support in the updated Siri Remote, allowing users to locate the remote using their iPhone's Precision Finding feature or trigger a sound to help find it when misplaced.
