Taskmasters Greg Davies & Alex Horne talk Dropout crossovers & unfiltered chaos in series 22
Taskmasters Greg Davies and Alex Horne join host Mark Stetson to dive into the recent Dropout and Taskmaster crossover, Richard Ayoade subverting task rules, and the chaos of making Series 22.
Taskmaster stars Greg Davies and Alex Horne discussed their upcoming Series 22 with Mashable Executive Producer Mark Stetson. They explored the chaos brought by contestants such as Richard Ayoade, Chloe Petts, Isy Suttie, Matt Lucas, and Nina Conti. Davies and Horne talked about managing chaotic personalities like Ayoade and Jason Mantzoukas, iconic costumes throughout the show's history, and memorable character-breaking moments.
Davies admitted his personal obsession with Caramac bars, while Horne commented on Ayoade's rule-breaking nature, saying "he doesn't like playing by the rules" and will try to "unpick it." They also discussed whether they build contingencies for chaos agents in their games, with Horne stating "not really" and Ayoade "turning things on their head" once the cameras roll.
The duo hinted at a potential crossover with Dropout's Game Changer, but emphasized their busy schedules may limit such plans. Currently, Taskmaster Series 22 is available to stream on YouTube.
