Mumbai-based author and philanthropist Sudha Murty inaugurated Detective Gopi, the latest installment in her beloved The Gopi Diaries series, at Heritage Xperiential Learning School in Gurugram on Friday. The HarperCollins-Koolskool publication follows the canine detective Gopi on a summer vacation mystery in the waters of River Shubhada.
The launch included a book unveiling and an interactive session where students shared their favorite reads, favorite genres, and reading preferences with Murty. The school principal, Sangeeta Kapoor, stated that the event aligned with the institution's emphasis on experiential learning, noting that engaging with an author whose tales have inspired many generations encourages students to read, question, and expand their imaginations.
