The Frome Firm Golf Bowl, sponsored by Steve Burns and John Bolt, took place on October 7th at Altorreal. Twenty-seven players participated in the full handicap Stableford format, playing in two groups. The weather was perfect after a few days of torrential rain, with clear skies and a temperature of 27 degrees. Scores ranged between 20 and 35 points.

Overall winner Dicky Ticker Nick Chambers secured his second consecutive win with 38 points. Runner-up Steve Day scored 31 points, and third place went to Brian Court with 30 points. In Group A, Andy Godfrey won with 35 points, followed by John Bolt with the same score, and Gary Hill placed third with 30 points. In Group B, Brian Court took first place with 30 points, with Kenny Dow placing third at 30 points.

Six players achieved the nearest the pin honors, with Simon Collins and John Bolt excelling at holes 3 and 18 in Group A, and Tom Court and Kenny Dow winning at holes 2 and 16 in Group B. Peter Kelly had the best front nine score of 18 points, and Kevin Quinn led the back nine with 18 points. No one won the two's pot, so the €60.00 is set for the next game.

Steve Burns, John Bolt, Kellie, Katie, and the Sheerin's staff provided excellent hospitality for the event. Michael O'Keeffe won the football card, taking €40 and funding €40 for the charities in 2026.
