A Redditor tried running Furmark on an NVIDIA RTX Spark laptop on display at a French retail store. The laptop in question was the 24GB ASUS ProArt P16 RTX Spark, which is lower-tier compared to the 20-core variant. Furmark was downloaded and installed on the laptop, and the Redditor attempted to run it at an FHD resolution. However, after successfully downloading Time Spy, they were warned that they might be asked to leave the store.
The 24GB model of the RTX Spark managed to run Furmark at 123 fps, which is comparable to the performance of the GeForce RTX 5060. Despite this, the report highlights the lack of security measures in hardware outside of controlled environments, especially in public places like retail stores.
