Preorder the SteelSeries Sensei Pro and Rival Pro 8K Gaming Mice With Unlimited Battery Life
Shaping up to be the best gaming mice on the market.
SteelSeries has introduced two new gaming mice, the Sensei Pro and Rival Pro, that claim to revolutionize the PC gaming market. These mice are expected to be released on November 15 at a price of $179.99. With their unique features like a hot-swappable battery system and ultra-wide band (UWB) wireless connectivity, these mice aim to provide gamers with an unparalleled gaming experience.
One of the most notable features of these mice is their hot-swappable battery system. This system allows gamers to swap out batteries without having to stop or restart their session, offering an infinite battery life. Each mouse includes two removable, rechargeable batteries - one for immediate use and another for charging. Furthermore, each battery can last up to 120 hours on a single charge.
The Sensei Pro and Rival Pro also utilize a UWB wireless connection, which operates on a 6GHz or higher frequency, thereby avoiding the 2.4GHz band that is congested with various wireless peripherals. This allows for rapid and uninterrupted data transmission, eliminating any dropouts, stutters, or lags that gamers might experience with other wireless mice.
The Sensei Pro and Rival Pro are equipped with a TrueMove 42K Pro optical sensor, which automatically adjusts its DPI based on the gaming scenario. This means that the mouse can seamlessly switch from a lower DPI for precise navigation in menus to a higher DPI for faster movement during gameplay. Additionally, these mice boast six programmable buttons that feature optical switches rated for an impressive 100 million clicks.
The mice also come with limitless customization options via SteelSeries' GG PC app, as well as pre-applied low friction PTFE feet for smooth gliding.
Weighing in at a mere 49 grams, the Sensei Pro and Rival Pro are designed to be ultra-lightweight without compromising on performance. SteelSeries has undoubtedly packed these mice with all the features necessary to occupy a high-end niche in the gaming world.
