Man Utd have 'moved on' from Martinez outburst, says Carrick
LONDON: Michael Carrick said Friday that Manchester United had “moved on” from Lisandro Martinez’s outburst aimed at the club’s hierarchy, stressing it was “really not a drama for us as a group.”
Manchester United's manager Michael Carrick has stated that the club has moved past Lisandro Martinez's outburst aimed at the team's leadership following their recent poor performance. The Argentina defender criticized the club's technical director, Jason Wilcox, over the lack of investment made during the summer transfer window, following United's 2-0 Champions League loss to Atletico Madrid.
Although Martinez issued an apology, he has been fined for his outburst. Carrick confirmed that Martinez will be part of the squad for their upcoming Premier League match against Leeds on Sunday. The United manager expressed confidence in the team's ability to concentrate on their upcoming matches, emphasizing the importance of unity and passion among the players.
