Man City Target Bounce Back as EPL Action Returns to DStv, GOtv

As Premier League football returns to DStv and GOtv this weekend, several clubs aim to capitalize on their European success or recover from recent setbacks. Manchester City will host Ipswich Town at 12:30pm, hoping to extend their perfect league start following a 3-0 win over Liverpool in the Champions League. City suffered a 4-2 home defeat to Paris Saint-Germain the previous week and will be eager to bounce back.

Elsewhere, Everton will face Chelsea at 12:30pm in a match that will be broadcast live on SS Premier League (DStv Ch. 203, GOtv Ch. 65). Chelsea are looking to build upon their recent 5-1 thrashing of Bournemouth, who have now gone three games without a victory. Liverpool will travel to Brentford at 3:00pm, aiming to recover from their 3-0 league loss to Manchester City.

Their recent 6-3 win over LASK in the Champions League could provide a much-needed morale boost, but Brentford will be targeting a positive result after a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.

Meanwhile, Manchester City will clash with Ipswich Town at 12:30pm, hoping to maintain their perfect league record following a 3-0 victory in the Champions League. The team lost 4-2 at home to PSG in midweek and will be determined to respond. Ipswich arrived at their opponent after securing a 2-1 win over Fulham. The match will air live on SS Football (DStv Ch. 205, GOtv Ch. 61).

Newcastle will host Aston Villa at 5:30pm, with the goal of recovering from a 4-1 defeat to Coventry in the previous match. Aston Villa drew 2-2 with Brentford, while Newcastle awaits further instructions on their next game. On Sunday, Brighton will take on Crystal Palace at 2:00pm, while Leeds will host Manchester United. Forest will face Arsenal at 4:30pm, following a 2-1 win over Leeds and a 3-0 victory in the Champions League against Lille. Finally, on Monday at 8:00pm, Tottenham will host Coventry City.
