Lisandro Martinez apologises for criticising Manchester United hierarchy

Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has stated that the club has moved past defender Lisandro Martinez's controversial remarks about the team's management. Martinez had to apologize after criticizing the club's leadership following their Champions League defeat by Atletico Madrid. The defender met with United's management and manager, expressing a desire to clarify his comments and address any misunderstandings.

Carrick said on Friday that the situation is now closed and that the team has moved on from the controversy. The defender's apology came after he admitted that his frustration following the loss had led him to express his feelings at an inappropriate time.
