General : Road Transport (Amendment) Act 2026 Comes Into Force Today - MOT
PUTRAJAYA, Oct 16 (Bernama) -- The Road Transport (Amendment) Act 2026, which amends the Road Transport Act 1987 (Act 333), came into force today, introducing new provisions to curb illegal street racing and ‘tonto’ syndicate activities, as well as strengthen enforcement and the digitalisation of Road Transport Department (JPJ) services.
