Gehgeh accuses VDM of threatening Davido over Burna Boy feud

Gehgeh, a prominent social media figure, has accused VeryDarkMan of making Davido an enemy due to his friendship with Burna Boy, questioning why the activist threatened to "wash him down" if he dared to speak about Nigerian politics again. In a video, Gehgeh advised VeryDarkMan to cease attacking Davido over his political preferences, arguing that the singer shares the same right as any Nigerian to back a candidate of his choice.

"VeryDarkMan's connection with Burna Boy is making him perceive Davido as his adversary," Gehgeh stated. He likened the scenario to the period when streamer Carter Efe was close to Davido and allegedly started targeting VeryDarkMan, asserting that VDM was now treating Davido's opponents as his own because of the backing he receives from Burna Boy.

Gehgeh denounced VDM's alleged warning to Davido, stating: "That claim is incorrect in every regard. You're not more Nigerian than Davido." He added that backing a relative or friend in politics was a personal choice many Nigerians could make, arguing that Davido had not done anything wrong by supporting a candidate. "If my older brother is running for any political party, should I abandon my brother and back someone I don't know?"

Gehgeh queried. Gehgeh urged VeryDarkMan to reconsider his statements, warning that he might later regret dismissing the advice. Gehgeh accuses VeryDarkMan of making threats against Davido over the Burna Boy feud.
