London rappers fakemink and Skepta have collaborated on a new single, titled "Chiltern Firehouse." fakemink, an underground sensation who has emerged in recent years with a unique lo-fi sound, has been making waves in the UK rap scene. In contrast, Skepta is a seasoned rapper who rose to fame in the early grime scene, producing numerous hits and collaborating with world-renowned artists.
The two met earlier this year when they both performed at Warsaw's CLOUT Festival and later appeared together in a Stone Island advertisement campaign. fakemink co-produced the new track with Angelus and Musa, starting out as a purely fakemink effort before Skepta's powerful vocals take over. The contrast between their distinct styles creates a fascinating clash that adds an intriguing twist to the song. fakemink's latest album, "Terrified," is now available on EtnaVeraVela, while Skepta's new album "The Fork And Knife" drops on November 6th via Big Smoke/Epic/Sony.
