STURGIS — The eighth week of the MHSAA high school football season is kicking off with a promising lineup of games on Friday, Oct. 15. Sturgis will host Otsego as the Trojans aim to build on their win streak, facing a potentially damp match against the Bulldogs. Climax-Scotts and Mendon are set to clash in a highly anticipated rivalry game, with Mendon currently ranked as the top team in the state for 8-player Division 2 football.
The Hornets have been consistently ranked at the top of the writer's list each week, making it challenging for the Panthers to overtake them this evening. Fans can track real-time scores on the local Scoresteam page provided in the widget below, and the story will be updated post-game with highlights and recaps.
