Blue-chip defensive back names Florida State in his top 10 schools
The Florida State Seminoles have landed in the top 10 for 2028 four-star defensive back Phoenix Evans.
Four-star defensive back Phoenix Evans has named Florida State one of his top 10 schools, according to Yahoo Sports. The 5-foot-10, 160-pounder, who is ranked as the No. 15 cornerback and No. 19 recruit in Florida, has cut his potential schools down to 10, with Florida State being among them. The other schools on his list include the Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, Texas A&M Aggies, Kentucky Wildcats, Auburn Tigers, UCLA Bruins, Oregon Ducks, USC Trojans, and California Bears.
Evans has visited Kentucky, Texas A&M, and Florida, with the Gators hosting him on September 26. If Florida State can make a strong impression during Evans' upcoming visit in November, it could be a significant recruiting win for the Seminoles.
