Apple Store Down Ahead of iPhone Duo Pre-Orders

Apple's online store is currently inaccessible in preparation for the pre-orders of Apple's new iPhone Duo, which are set to commence at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time on October 16. An Apple Store message on its U.S. website reads: "Almost ready for you. Pre-order begins at 5:00 a.m. PT. See you soon." This shift to a 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time start time for pre-orders, instead of the previous 12:01 a.m., has been a consistent practice for several years.

The iPhone Duo, Apple's inaugural foldable smartphone, will be available for pre-order to customers in more than 70 countries, including Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Japan, Mexico, the UAE, the UK, and the U.S. The device is offered in four storage capacities: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB.

Before placing an order, it's important to note that the iPhone Duo will start at $1,999 in the United States and will be available for purchase starting on October 23, with deliveries to customers and in-store availability commencing on the same day. The availability will later expand to 28 additional countries and regions on October 30.
