Ruston high school's five-star tight end Ahmad Hudson has been honored with USA TODAY Sports Play of the Week for his extraordinary catch during a game against Ouachita Parish on October 10th. The future LSU Tiger demonstrated his skills that will soon be displayed on the basketball court, even though he was actively participating in a football match.
With his team leading and in the opponent's end zone, Hudson managed to leap between two defenders, securing the ball in one of the most impressive catches of the season. Standing at 6 feet 6.5 inches tall and weighing 239 pounds, Hudson is recognized as one of the top prospects in both football and basketball. He currently holds the No. 20 spot in USA TODAY Sports' overall football rankings and the No. 24 position in the basketball composite rankings.
