A$AP Rocky Brings Trippy ‘Shroom Clouds’ to Streaming Services for the First Time: Listen
"Shroom Clouds" serves as the lead single for Don't Be Dumb - Disc 2 .
A$AP Rocky's second disc of his deluxe project, "Don't Be Dumb," is finally making its way to streaming platforms. The Harlem artist introduced the lead single "Shroom Clouds" to the public on Friday, October 16.
"Shroom Clouds," originally called "Mushroom Clouds," is a psychedelic track featuring Rocky's live performance at a 420 Weedmaps event, Governors Ball in 2021, and Amazon Music Live set in 2022. The song's production is credited to A$AP Mob's Hector Delgado, with Rocky's catchy chorus containing lines like "Super stoned, super high/March, April, May, shroom, July/Super stoned, super high/See mushroom clouds in the sky."
Rocky recently revealed during a Billboard interview that Disc 2 is on its way and detailed which songs will be included. He also hinted at the "next chapter" of his career, stating that the new release will showcase alter egos that didn't get a dedicated album. "Don't Be Dumb" initially came out in January 2023, marking his first solo LP since 2018's TESTING. The album debuted atop the Billboard 200 with a total of 123,000 album-equivalent units, which was his first No. 1 in over a decade.
Following the European tour, Rocky will be bringing his "Don't Be Dumb" World Tour to five arenas in Australia and New Zealand this December. General tickets will go on sale on Friday at 1 p.m. local time. Listen to "Shroom Clouds" below.
