2. Bundesliga Preview: Kaiserslautern host underachievers Bochum, Braunschweig meet Fürth

In the upcoming 2. Bundesliga matchday 8, promotion hopefuls Kaiserslautern will host struggling side VfL Bochum. Last weekend, Kaiserslautern drew a goalless match against another underachiever, Bochum, who lost their previous game to Arminia Bielefeld. The pair have only managed three wins out of their first seven matches against each other, with both sides triumphing 3-2 in those encounters.

Elsewhere, bottom half clubs Eintracht Braunschweig and Greuther Fürth will clash on Saturday afternoon. With Heiko Vogel's Fürth giving Hertha BSC a tough fight on matchday 7, ending in a 4-3 defeat, hopes may be high for another surprise result. Meanwhile, Eintracht Braunschweig ended their winless run with a narrow 1-0 victory over Holstein Kiel. In their previous fixture, Braunschweig triumphed 2-0 at home over Rot-Weiß Fürth, who had previously triumphed 2-0 over the same opponents in the reverse fixture last season.
