The versatile singer, who has been topping the charts since 1993, is known for his exceptional voice that spans multiple octaves and effortlessly switches between his natural tenor and high falsettos.

Castro's career began in the early 1990s, and he quickly made a name for himself with his hit "Nunca Voy Olvidarte," which became a No. 1 smash on the Hot Latin Tracks. The song earned him the inaugural Billboard Latin Music Award for Song of the Year in 1994. Following this success, Castro continued to release chart-topping albums, including "Mi Vida Sin Tu Amor" and "Azul," both of which produced multiple top five hits on the Hot Latin Songs chart.
