The friendship between Bollywood actor Bobby Deol and producer Nikhil Dwivedi has been a strong one, spanning decades. Producer Nikhil, who has worked with industry giants like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, also had a close relationship with Bobby. Their bond strengthened further when they started collaborating on projects together.
Bobby, often referred to as "Lord Bobby," gained renewed popularity after the success of the 2023 film Animal. His demand increased, both in Hindi and South Indian cinema. As Bobby's agent, Nikhil ensured that he received substantial remuneration and top-notch treatment from his producers.
Together, they worked on Anurag Kashyap's film Bandar, with Bobby delivering his best performance as an actor. Despite their efforts, the film did not perform well at the box office. A source mentioned that Bobby was sincere in promoting Bandar but was disappointed with its commercial failure. However, it is widely known that Bobby is a grounded individual and did not blame anyone for the film's poor performance.
A close friend of Bobby hinted at some tension in his relationship with Nikhil, but this was later clarified by a producer spokesperson who stated that there is no rift between them. Bobby still communicates with Nikhil for work-related matters and has not responded to inquiries about the rumored rift. The partnership between the actor and producer remains mutually beneficial, with Bobby continuing to work under the agency where Nikhil is a partner. The claim of an alleged rift is, therefore, baseless.
