The acclaimed PC shooter, Squad, is coming to consoles and PS5 players will be able to experience it very soon.
Offworld Industries, the developer behind the popular PC tactical shooter Squad, has announced that the game will be coming to consoles. Xbox Series X|S and PS5 owners will be able to experience the game very soon, with a playable alpha for PlayStation players taking place from October 16 to 25. This early access offer will allow beta testers to provide valuable feedback on how the console version performs, with an optimised experience promised for Xbox.
Squad will feature 50v50 matches, map polish, crossplay with other consoles, and new communication methods via a radial wheel to issue commands and pings. For Xbox players seeking to test the console version ahead of launch, there is no official announcement yet. The PC version of Squad was released in 2020 and has been a favorite among tactical shooters players.
